This is what one may call a one-of-a-kind movie. The movie focuses mainly on the mannadiar family who are considered as the Gods of the village of "Kamakshipuram" . In the movie we see Narasimha mannadiar (Mammotty) as the present head of the family and also Veerasimha mannadiar (Jayaram), who has an ambition to pursue his MBA career in England. But on his way to the airport on his journey to England , he gets brutally murdered along with his friend who was the son of DIG marar (Janardhanan) by one of the most feared serial killer of the times and a rival to DIG marar , Hyder.

The rest of the film is about how Narasimha mannadiar along with his trusted associates Bhadran(Vikram) , the priest-to-be turned police officer Jose Nariman(Suresh Gopi) and DIG marar fight to bring the serial killer, Hyder under the law ...........
